Refund policy

GENERAL POLICY

As a general rule, all sales made on SCP Workshop are considered final and non-refundable. We encourage our customers to thoroughly review the product descriptions, requirements, and user feedback before making a purchase to ensure the product meets their needs and expectations.

 

EXCEPTIONS FOR REFUNDS

While we stand by our no-refund policy, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. Therefore, SCP Workshop may consider refund requests under the following specific conditions:

  1. Fraudulent Transactions: If a purchase is found to be the result of a fraudulent transaction, SCP Workshop will investigate the matter. Upon confirmation, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method. Customers are urged to report suspected fraudulent activity immediately to help us take prompt action.
     
  2. Duplicate Purchases: In cases where a customer accidentally makes a duplicate purchase of the same product, we will evaluate and may issue a refund for the duplicate transaction. Proof of the duplicate purchase will be required.
     
  3. Non-Delivery of Product: If a digital product is not delivered or cannot be downloaded due to technical issues on our part, customers are entitled to request a refund. We first attempt to resolve the issue; if we cannot provide access to the product, a refund may be granted.
     
  4. Significantly Not as Described: If a product is significantly different from its description or demo version, customers can submit a claim. Such claims will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Supporting evidence must be provided, and we reserve the right to attempt to rectify the issue before a refund is issued.

 

EXCEPTIONS FOR REFUNDS

To request a refund, customers must contact SCP Workshop Support within 7 days of purchase. The request must include:

  • The order number
  • A detailed explanation of the issue
  • Any relevant evidence supporting the claim

 

REFUND PROCESSING

Upon receiving a refund request, our team will review the submission and may contact the customer for further information. Refund decisions are made at the discretion of SCP Workshop, considering the circumstances of each case. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within a certain number of business days, subject to processing times of payment providers.

 

CHARGEBACK POLICY

Initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue with SCP Workshop may have serious consequences, including:

  1. Removal from SCP Workshop: Users who initiate chargebacks without contacting SCP Workshop for resolution may be permanently removed from the platform. We believe in resolving disputes amicably and transparently, and we provide a dedicated support system for addressing any concerns or issues related to your purchase.
     
  2. Ban on External Platforms: SCP Workshop has partnerships with various platforms to enhance your experience and security. Initiating a chargeback may result in a ban not only on SCP Workshop but also on external platforms that are part of our partnership network. This is because fraudulent chargebacks undermine the trust and security of the entire community.
